Castleford Tigers has announced the launch of the Sportsmatch/Genesis Group International Link Project.
The scheme - made possible by a Sportsmatch/Genesis award of £100,000 - will focus upon developing the Tigers current programmes for junior players, reaching further out to local secondary schools and amateur clubs in the West Yorkshire area.
Genesis Group International are the exclusive PUMA licensee for Teamsports (UK and Ireland), the Tiger’s new Technical Kit Partner.
Julie Orange, Marketing Manager, Genesis said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Genesis Link Sportsmatch Project, where secondary school pupils from the nine schools as well as amateur coaches, will pick up brand new skills.
"We are thrilled to be giving the club the support it needs to fulfill and develop what is an essential and much loved programme within this community."
